There will be expert seminars with many exciting presentations. This photo is from the SMAK fair in 2020 when the theme was ‘Together we’re building food nation Norway’.

Inspirational theme
The theme for UMAMI ARENA 2023 is ‘The Power to Take Norway Forward’ – and the industry its flexing its muscles with a lot of exciting content on the menu. The Opening Conference will fire the starting gun. With the same theme it aims to discuss and build expertise on how to maximise recruitment opportunities to the industry.

The Opening Conference also serves as the National Conference for the restaurant and food studies organised by UMAMI ARENA together with the nine industry associations. Minister of Agriculture and Food Sandra Borch will be just one of the high-profile politicians and business leaders participating.
